Dave, Ron is correct, use the turns, not the inductance. I don't remember where it is, but somewhere Hans said as much. -- 73, Dan? NM3A

Help with QMX 60-15m 40M issue with receive
To all;? I have been checking other posts and issues but have not been able to find my issue. I just completed a build of the QMX.? For the most part it is working.? I don't use 60M at all.?

Re: QMX+ - Turns counts on L517 & L518 #qmx
Dave, the number of turns is correct. I suspect the inductance values were the original design starting points and other circuit parameters required turns count adjustments to make it work. I just

Re: QMX+ - Turns counts on L517 & L518 #qmx
I also have a query about inductors L515 to L520. I have checked the calculations of all these inductors on toroids.info, and the number of turns on all these inductors seems to be off with respect to

Re: QMX+ lacks a PWR_HOLD signal - Putty works holding down PWR_ON
Thanks for the input Jeff ( /g/QRPLabs/topic/qmx_lacks_a_pwr_hold_signal/106968255 ) (W1NC) - I think lifting the leg might be the next step. If the voltage behaves the same, I'll

Re: Just for Fun !
Nice battery trick. How did you manage to solder leads to the battery terminals? I gave up and figured I needed one of those spot welder gizmos. Also, very nice case! What's the source or did you

Re: QMX Preset Problem
Yes. I just checked that on my QMX+ and I see the same condition. Changing to a preset frequency does not switch the filters. Nice catch.. Ron [email protected]> wrote:

Increasing sidetone volume does seem to reduce clicks, but then the sidetone is so loud I musr remove my headphones. Willem, for me it seems cw and digi let you set each volume independently. I did

QMX Preset Problem
I have noticed that frequencies selected from the PRESET memories only select the VFO setting and do not select the appropriate BPF or LPF for that frequency. The BPF and LPF are only selected

Re: QMX+ Startup Issues
Ray, a voltage drop of 5V across Q103 and Q105 is strange. With all subboards removed? Imho it's a bit to low. Could there be a different problem, maybe affected by the hot air? 73 Ludwig

Re: Key clicks when AGC is active #qmx
I had the same problem with mine (also a mid-band). What happened for me was that AGC would reduce the receive volume too much, which meant I had to crank up my main volume a lot. This in turn meant I
