There are ready made usb-pd to 12Vdc cables available on aliexpress for just a single-digit dollars, shipping incl. I guess I'll give it a try. And yes, the pd capable power bank is needed for

Hi Matt, the trigger board is bought (~10 USD if I remember right) and I use this one: https://joy-it.net/en/products/COM-ZY12PDN-ST Just check Google/Amazon for ZY12PDN, I'm sure you will find

Re: QMX stops transmitting FT8
FWIW, I am having this issue now after many days of it working fine, it started this behavior. However, I have noticed if I switch to use VOX, it works fine. I am on windows 10 (also tested on Mac)

coming over from this thread: /g/QRPLabs/topic/102344541 I am also having this problem, however, I found that using VOX allows me to continue using JTDX and it functions perfectly

Re: QMX V2 and MAC Air M2 - connecting for digital
This is what it should look like for you (of course without "not found" if the QMX is connected)... 73! Simon

Re: QDX, brand new, in a confused serial state, after several good RX bandhopping days. #dev #edu #serial #wspr #documentation
Yes.mincom is in or wsjtx is in. QDX configured and worked great for three days. This is a qrp-labs factory assembled and tested unit. After the three days CAT quit. I had used minicomputer (ancient)

Re: BS170 pinout
I have encountered the wrong pin-out on transistors purporting to be BS170s that I ordered from China. These have the source and drain swapped over (see attached photo), so I I had to fit them

Re: QMX on a stick - a minimalistic SOTA activation #qmx
What kind of usb-c converter are you using? I tried simple usb-a power bank (5V out) and dc-dc buck to step up; worked surprisingly good for receive (no additional noise) but it would add a terrible

Re: BS170 pinout
Adrian, on page 6 in both data sheets the "Pin Array" is D-G-S. So, there is probably an error on page 1 of the December, 2021 ? Rev. 6 data sheet. 73 Wolfgang DK4RW

Re: BS170 pinout
I've never seen it either. And since the universe de facto hates me, I'd have thought by now it ought to have taken the opportunity to pollute my BS170'isms with a batch of mixed up pinouts.

Re: BS170 pinout
Adrian, No I did not notice the PDFs! I did look and did not find any with the different pinout. I have been using Softrock RXTXs for 15+ years, QCX, QDXs also BS170s for other purposes.. Unless my

Really Adrian? Maybe this has been mentioned before but I do not remember. The BS170 is used in so many home-built rigs and has been for many years. 73 Alan G4ZFQ

...and it gets even more beautiful :-) ONSEMI *used* to make BS170 that way... until end of 2021... from April 2022, they seem to follow the Fairchilld way (D-G-S) So, when you buy a batch, I wonder
