Re: QDX input voltage #qdx
Hello Russ Built radios include a test certificate which shows the PCB revision, firmware version, supply voltage among other things. I just checked yours, it says 12V. Furthermore our default build

Re: QCX 50W PA multibanding? #50wpa
Hi I played with this idea I made an 50w amp with no LPFs inside try to use an external switchable LPF that I bought from aliexpress result: No Go :( why? for each band you'll need not only

Re: QDX input voltage #qdx
Hans has stated that if you don’t specify a particular voltage, it’s built for 12V.

QDX input voltage #qdx
Without opening the radio to check the values of the build is there a way of determining the build voltage? The website states it could be built for either 9 or 12 volts and I purchased it as a built

Re: QMX no Rx after a few days of operation
Got the QMX a few weeks ago and it's been working great aside from the known issues. Worked this morning until it didn't. Can broadcast and am seeing normal spots on FT8 around the country, but

Re: QDXhi processor pin
Thanks Evan, Seems obvious now you've told me but there are no markings on the board and i didn't think to compare the PCB layouts of the various board revisions. 73 Phil G8DDN

Powering the QLG2 for use with QMX #qlg2
I have a DC-DC buck converter for the 5 volts. I assume the pads under PH3 on the QLG2 board are the ones to use? When using this supply ?do I need to disconnect the jumper used when supplied by the

Hello Lun, I'm curious, now that sweeps look quite better, does it feel like there's any improvement in reception? Regards, YO3GFH op. Adrian

Good question Bruce as there definitely are common features. I have not seen fails attributable to the related problem posted here on the forum. It may be that I have not been looking, or that the

As someone has to ask : Is there any reason to reduce the antenna capacitor to 1nF (or fit a diode)? on the *U3S receiver* which also covers the lower bands and also has a 100nF input cap, FET

Hi Mike, My RF sweeps looked fine while I had no output. They could of used a little bit of tweaking to get things perfect, but were useable. Once I fixed the bad solder joint on T507, the output
