Re: The OSC5A2B02 OCXO - a few more comments
OK, some weeks later and a few issues with my GPS receiver and aerials, I have
tied together the OSC5A vctcxo with the NB3N502 and a Progrock v1. ( I have no
doubt the v2 Progrock will suffice, but

#qmx @Hans: Spare parts - which to choose?
#qmx
Hi Hans, and hi all,
after John Z's hint to look for a faulty inductor I need to buy new ones.
My dealer has only 3 types? of 47 ?H inductors - the smallest one should be in MICC construction form

John Z - it looks like that was the error!
I should have noticed right away that the coil "felt so soft".
Of course I don't have another coil ready to install :-/
But, you made my day - thanks a lot

Re: #qmx Power supplies and the measured PWM

Hi Hans,
sorry, my bad. I thought the 78M33 was on the main board. I wanted to run the 3V3 from there if in trouble.? All clear now.
Thanks,

Re: #qmx QMX is up and running - except 30/20 - UPDATE

Frank,
Check L509 for continuity. If it is open, the PIN diodes for that filter
will not forward bias.
Also, L510 and L513 must have solid connections as well for the PIN diodes
to function on

Re: #qmx QMX is up and running - except 30/20 - UPDATE
#qmx
Frank,
Just resolder the inductors.
At least 90% of LPF "faults" are just inductor solder joints.

Re: #qmx QMX is up and running - except 30/20 - UPDATE

Hi Chris,
seems, like everything is ok.
But there is still only very very low output on 30/20.
So, for test I changed LPF-assignment for 30/20 to LPF 1 and there at least I could see a much stronger

Re: Fldigi and QMX successful???
Hans, i wonder would it be tricky to route the incomming audio through the headphone output for digi mode when in TX? I mean something like a monitor output with volume setting in the digi interface

Hello Bojan
I'm unclear what you're asking. I reviewed the previous posts again and I'm
still unclear. It appeared to me that you wanted to know if PCB #2 was
absent and you were using an external

Re: QMX RF sweeps
Hi Rick, all
All the SMD ceramic capacitors on the board are unimportant non-C0G (means
probably X7R). The places where it is important to use NP0/C0G are in the
BPR and LPF areas and these
