Re: Guide to receiving QRSS signals
Thanks Steve
Nice guide! I hadn't read it before. Note the image at the top of the page: G0UPL (me) in the lower trace ;-) This is my so-called "Junkbox" beacon I ran in my attic for 6 months.

Re: Signalink USB soundcard
I have multiple sound cards in my Windows XP computer and Argo would only
use one of them no matter what the settings are. This seems to be a bug in
the ARGO software.

Signalink USB soundcard
Greetings to the group.
I'm unable to get ARGO to work with my Signalink USB external soundcard.
ARGO wants to default to my onboard soundcard instead.
Any idea how I can change this? I don't want to

K9EW QRSS on 10.140,033
Hello,
I just put my QRSS kit from Hans Summers on the air a couple of days ago and would appreciate hearing of any "sightings" of my signal.

Re: I'm having second thoughts on QRSS....
Jim,
I have had a similar thought, that there must be a 'better way'. It doesn't have to be WSPR, but some easy method of reply/confirmation.
In the meantime, if you see my call on 30, pse let me

Jim,
The usual procedure is to take a screenshot of the signal and either to post it here or on the knightlights reflector. That way we all get to share what you have received. The owner of the

Just finished the beacon I bought from Hans at FDIM. Got code on pin two, but no discernible code from the output. It appears that pin 3 is at a constant 5 volts. As soon as I get time, I'll get

Re: BEACON FREQUENCIES

7.000,000 - 7.000,100
10.140,000 - 10.140,100
Most of the activity is on 30 meters and you can generally rely on a

BEACON FREQUENCIES
Can anyone please tell me if there is a "standard" frequency for each of the different bands , for operating QRSS , and a list of what those frequencies are ?
Thank you ,
