SEVEN QDXs comparison
Hi I'm away from home but with all my QDXs in a village Had enough time to make QDX comparisons hope it helps - I had problems with the dummy load I have with me here (it wasn't good for 50MHz) -

Re: Elves had a bad day with my high band QDX kit #qdx
I originally read that as ELVIS had a bad day. Maybe he's swapped his "working in the chip shop" job for working with Hans ;-) -- - 73 de Andy -

Re: rxerror.html
Yes... The program waits for 2 minutes for all the WSJT-X instances around the world to report their spots. It does take that long. Sometimes more. But waiting 2 minutes seems enough. For example if

Re: QLG! GPS question
Invest in a U3S, which is a practical 0-50Mhz multimode *beacon* TX. Offers WSPR / JT / CW / Hell / Opera / Pi4 etc mode with no need for a PC. Then you attach the GPS unit to it for freq calibration

Re: rxerror.html
John, It's only reporting on 20m and is updated every transmit cycle of 2 minutes. Best to just stay on 20m for a while and check TX errors soon after you have transmitted. Does that

Re: rxerror.html
John Note this is a 2-minute window. You show as -5 on 20m but not every 2 minutes. 73 Alan G4ZFQ

Re: Si5351a issues with frequency resolution (step size) at 144MHz (or even lower frequencies)
Another similar way to generate accurate offsets from a base frequency is to manipulate the solution P1, P2, P3 terms directly.? I have been using this method just recently and I think it works.?

Elves had a bad day with my high band QDX kit #qdx
I have received what might have been one of the earlier high band QDX kits. It was missing the (expected) 30 pf cap, and insufficient 28AWG wire (also not a surprise). However, the kit was also short

Re: Feeding 30 MHz into the Si5351A with the Ultimate3S
BTW the pll in the 5351 should (in theory) attenuate some wide band input ref noise, but I recall from an earlier project that using the nb3n502 to multiply 10 to 25 MHz wasn't as clean as just

Re: Feeding 30 MHz into the Si5351A with the Ultimate3S
I'm on the road today,? but tomorrow will share what data I have from my measurements on the pll. It definitely adds some broadband noise. The Qdx works well with my mod but I haven't evaluated the

Re: ATU-100 Case
Hi Mike, there are many such cases, but unfortunately they are plastic. The case should be metal, preferably aluminum. 73 Zdenek
