Re: Attachments on old posts
Dan Quite possibly they have gone forever. I suspect that this group is setup to delete old attachments so data storage is not exceeded. The way to do it is to save anything you think is useful. Easy

Re: What is an "acceptable" upper limit for QDX SWR?
I believe the correct way to look at it is the FWD power plus REV power at the finals. So, with the example above, 5 watts plus 1.25 watts is 25Vp and 50Vpp, approaching the 60V drain-source

Re: What is an "acceptable" upper limit for QDX SWR?
That is a question I've been trying to answer myself. According to a video from Rhode and Shwarz, at 3:1 VSWR, a quarter of the power is reflected back toward the source. So if the QDX has a forward

Re: QDX Owners & Users... Limit your ! CURRENT !
Randy, Problem with that approach is heat. Putting the regulator on the PCB foes not allow for much heat diffusion to environment. But here's a solution for you. Look at msg #79293 where I explained

Daimon, Fundamentally it is your choice. Do you want the best possible performance from your build or do you compromise? The RX will probably perform reasonably well with just an LPF as filter. That

What is an "acceptable" upper limit for QDX SWR?
Hans, I've been wondering this for a while.?What would you consider "really badly mismatched" with respect to the QDX SWR? 3:1? 2:1? 1.5:1? I have a WSPRlite with, I assume, no VSWR protection. They

Re: What about 13.6 volts?
After killing 2 BS170s and Q7 on a 13.8V supply I am sticking with 12V until I feel like taking a risk. (Built for 12V, <1.3:1 SWR when the smoke came out.) Enjoy your new rig! 73, Scott N1AIA
