Drift without TCXO is +3 to +4. Not too many spots. Ran my FT-817ND on 20 just now, which has a TXCO. Lots of spots on 20. It is clear that I have way too? much drift on the QCX+ without a TCXO.

Hi Cristi Sending extended call signs or 6-character locators in WSPR requires two WSPR transmissions. At the receiving end it makes use of the 15-bit hash-code to match up the the two transmissions.

Yep random wires can have that kind of behavior. If you have no faults with a dummy load your rig is fine. Can you go any longer with your wire?? A full 65 feet should match better on 40m and nicely
