Potential buyer here, When the embedded STM USB sound card is detected by Windows does it set 'correct' bit depth/sampling rate? I've been reading over the QDX Instruction manual's circuit

Andy, The trials that I have done do not point to a USB audio issue.? There is something disturbing the QDX that causes it to go into a state where the opposite sideband is not being suppressed as

Re: QDX Isues with sWindows10

The next step would be to get some snapshots of what the OS thinks it has connected and probably to split it into 2 threads, 1 for Windows and 1 for Linux. Get the QDX working OK and then capture the

Re: QDX Isues with sWindows10

Unfortunately disabling USB auto suspend did not solve it for me. After a while the RX audio level was zero, JS8Call was in TX mode but the QDX not. And the audio and RF filter sweep looked as below.

Low Tx out with high current?
Hi All, Everything was working fine, and then I switched firmware 1.01c.? When I loaded it up the QDX LED turned off.? I removed the power and then plug it in and the fast flashing occurred as usual

I have found that my issue was the different max audio out variation in my various windows machines (with out levels set at 100%).? On one laptop QDX works on 40M only and on an old windows tablet it

Hi Andy, This is interesting! I remember getting a 4-bay USB DAS to enumerate only after disabling auto suspend. So I just disabled auto suspend (added kernel option usbcore.autosuspend=-1) and

Guys, There seems to be lots of people with their guaranteed cures for USB issues all of which are ignoring the elephant in the room. USB is a hugely mature technology and if things are going wrong,

Re: QCX WARC Party - November 2021
Oh yes, I use a third tool if I know who I'm looking for http://www.reversebeacon.net/srch.php (you can do this also with the map version, but this one has a simpler interface) just type the callsign

Ben, I find this to happen sometimes. I tend to think it happens if I do not leave the QDX unpowered long enough, one minute or more? But all I'm certain of is that it does not always start correctly

Re: QDX: Much less frequent with 1.01b but still occurring periodically
The lines are what you would see on the audio input (QDX to PC) when the QDX is normally in TX mode. So maybe a CAT / serial issue. JS8Call thinks it is in RX mode, but the QDX audio was still cut

Re: QDX - No RF output, Tx line stays low
Hi Alan The key-down threshold is set in the QDX configuration screen at 80% amplitude. This setting is adjustable if you wish. But yes at default, 2dB would be about it. There's no advantage to be

Yes, obviously the first thing? you'll have to do is select the band, then manually entering the cal number into alignment menu (8) will certainly will certainly be close enough: that's Reference

Upgrade 1.06 to 1.07A
I have the chip on order to update a 20 meter QRX+ radio fitted with the 1.06 software. I assume I will need to re-calibrate the radio after I install the new chip. Will it suffice to note the 1.06
