Re: Need help programming Ultimate 3S for relays
One other question. Do all filters have to be in place on the relay board for the unit to operate? i don¡¯t yet have an 80m unit (Hans was out at FDIM last year) so I have programmed this to be one

Re: Need help programming Ultimate 3S for relays
Hi Ken, Thank you that makes sense. I changed TxS to 05 and now I can add a frequency for all my filters.? As far as relay 0 vs 1, I have my highest frequency LPF plugged into the U3S board itself. I

Re: qcx new bulld, two rows of boxes pin 7 and 20 OK
Both xtals oscillate, 20MHz xtal is about 5 kc's up, but I guess this is ok. I also checked the atmega's pins, averything was ok and not bent. Is there an easy way to test if the atmega is alive? I

Re: Wrong PWR level in WSPR #qcx
Hi Jan I checked the code, there is not any hard-coding for 30dBm and I cannot see any way for any bug to exist in this part of the code. The default value for power is +37dBm on factory reset. When

Re: Need help programming Ultimate 3S for relays
Hi Chris, the first number is the ¡®sequence¡¯ number, a little confusing to call it the ¡®mode¡¯ number. This runs 0,1,2 etc as you programme each consecutive 2 minute WSPR frequency. You can¡¯t

Re: External PA for QCX?
Alan, I have never had a problem with thermal runaway or as far as that goes, never had a heat problem of any kind. Of course please understand that I use it on CW only. I've just keyed it on SSB but

Re: QCX with QLG1 question
Hi Tim, I am still a bit confused why the satellite data doesn't show a 3D lock or the F data even after that first WSPR transmission. That has come up before but I don't know the answer as to why it

Howard, Thanks for the info. I did read that but was confused by the fact I could enter the alignment menu and then hit save/exit and the time would be synced despite what the manual said. I am still

Vielen dank. It appears that mine is working the same as yours. I am just surprised the satellite information does not show up on the GPS page under the alignment menu. Thanks and 73, Tim KB2MFS

Re: QCX with QLG1 question
Hi Tim, To expand on the answer from DJ2AG,? this info is from page 88 in the QCX Manual A WSPR transmission takes 1 minute and 52 seconds. The GPS time and location data is parsed from the GPS

Re: QCX with QLG1 question
GPS time is set in my QCX not before first WSPR transmission after power on has taken place. Which also means that this ?first transmission usually will not start at the needed timeslot.
