Re: Display Problem With Newly Constructed QMX+
Not sure what to say? I double checked all the solder joints on the connections and touched up any that seemed to be at all suspect. Using the schematic for the front panel board traces I made a

Re: Display Problem With Newly Constructed QMX+
I assume it powers up and down properly using the top knob, but draws 200 ma. So the processor is working, but not yet convinced that the power supplies working. If you look at LIN_REG_EN on the first

Re: A QCX++ ?
I do wonder how much interest there is in 160m and 6m. Reducing coverage to the traditional 80-10m makes room to use a cheaper 4 layer board, perhaps even with all surface mount parts on the bottom,

Re: KANGA kits
When in the mode the aim is to get the LED to be unlit. Due to the way the transmatch works it will not show 1:1 (or close to) on the radio. When you switch it out of tune mode it'll then show 1:1ish

WSPR Beacon Frame Error
Hi, I recently got my cute little QMX. While I'm going to learn to operate it and learn CW (not yet ready for letting it out in the wild), I thought I'd try WSPR first. The SW (FW rev 24 [*]) lets me

Re: QMX+ with HardRock 50+ amplifier
Bruce, I was going to recommend a 12V build. Another option is the Smart Power Attenuator from WA2T. This allows adjustable attenuation from 1-15db, and it saves settings for each band, and changes
