To put Mike's answer in simpler terms, it is normal to see the BNC center pin grounded in a QMX when checking with an Ohm meter. The center pin is DC grounded, but it is not grounded for RF

Check the schematics. There should be a DC ground through T507. Key part is that iit's not and AC connection to ground. -mike/w1mt
