Re: QMX Audio Output to WSJT-X
Interesting. My issue is relatively low input audio volume showing in WSJT-X; just a bit below 30 dB. Though WSJT-X shows that as 'green' and I'm making contacts OK. My 4 other rigs and SDRs have to

Re: QMX SWR PWR Readings
Hi Greg The PA-50 does have manual band selection, but this did not prevent SWR trigger. There is also automatic PTT function which would still be active and likely still the problem. There is

QMX HB Noise
Just completed my Rev 3 Hi band QMX. Rx sensitivity is okay and Tx power out is very good on all bands. Probably all needs a bit of tweaking, but pretty good so far. However, there is noise present

Re: Progrock drivers not working on win 10 or progrock not working.
I went through multiple USB cables as well, until I landed on the right one.? Most of the USB cables that come with devices these days are not wired for data transfer -- they're wired for charging

Re: QMX - BNC RF - bridge between signal and ground
Torsten, there is a DC connection from the BNC center pin to ground through the SWR sensor transformer. This is a DC short, not an RF short. It is normal. Ron

Re: QMX does not save VFO A or B frequencies on shutdown.
Have you installed FW 17?? That is the first FW that saved the VFO setting. ?Mine works on both my high and low band QMX. Larry NA0F

Thanks for the additional explanation. This means, when I can not see any thin bridge I can go on wirh assembly, right? Or do I have to check anything else? Many thanks Thorsten - DO1TG

Re: QMX - BNC RF - bridge between signal and ground
To put Mike's answer in simpler terms, it is normal to see the BNC center pin grounded in a QMX when checking with an Ohm meter. The center pin is DC grounded, but it is not grounded for RF

Re: QMX - BNC RF - bridge between signal and ground
Check the schematics. There should be a DC ground through T507. Key part is that iit's not and AC connection to ground. -mike/w1mt
