Re: QMX - A couple days and a fire. [ QMX did not show up as flash drive ]
I was able to install the 5V regulator replacement today. The QMX started right up. I am still using the original 3.3V regulator. Now on to learning how to use the diagnostics and RF/Audio graphs. I

Re: QCX Challenge - September 2023
Hello Luc, is your QCX tuned on 17m and it works on 20m too? Would be a great option for me too! And even better a 12m-15m version of it too. Love to have a WARC band at hand if during a weekend trip

Re: I've cured the 3v3 to 0v short but.....
Pretty sure you can't do this because of how the firmware is encrypted. The bootloader needs to be installed by Hans. -- 73 Andrew KI7FXL

QMX Fail: Recovery
Follow up report: Nearly two months ago (August 7) I reported a 'QMX Fail on Power Up'. I repaired the power supply and another IC failed (IC403). That replaced, I no longer trusted the repaired SMPSs

QMX shows short to ground on STM32 pin 5
I'm working on a QMX for someone. The display is showing one row of black rectangles. I assume that means the display and the microcontroller are not communicating as in the QCX. The unit is drawing

Re: I've cured the 3v3 to 0v short but.....
I had a working qmx and a jumper shorted it out. I had another qmx kit and removed the processor and installed it on the bad board. All works except no audio. I am trying to figure that out! So the

Re: I've cured the 3v3 to 0v short but.....
Hi, thank you very much. I think I do have the same problem. So I will solder a new STM32. The question is, how to get the initial boot loader? 73, Holger DL9HDA

I'm using an Emtech ZM-2 with a nanovna for tuning. I'm feeding a loop antenna with a balanced line (or more accurately, my entire antenna and feed system is a single length of wire) so a tuner that

Re: QMX: How to L401 #qmx
Harris, if you look at the main board pcb wiring on page 12 of the Assembly manual, it will be even more interesting. Compare the wiring of the pcb with the drawing of Schematic 4:Receiver. Surprise.

Re: QMX: How to L401 #qmx
Harris, Hole 4 is larger than hole 5 so there is more space to put both wires through it so most people use that for the end of the 28t winding and jumper to hole 5, however some people run the last

Re: #u3s FST4W on the U3S? #u3s
If WSJT-X is used to RX FST4W it can show the spectral width of received signals. To get it to do this an empty file just named "plotspec" is placed in the working directory. In Windows usually the
