Troll
On most forums there is a Troll that sometimes uses a ridiculous name to hide their true identity.
Their main purpose on your forum is to get attention, start a conflict , or insult someone, but not to contribute to the forum in a meaningful or friendly way. If a Troll is outed they often return with another name, that again obscures their identity. The best thing you can do to discourage a Troll is ignore their posts. Dave VE3KCL? |
QDX: Anyone else having a problem with image rejection?
#qdx
I'm seeing signals from 27 KHz below 14.074 MHZ... strong Morse code signals actually (when checked on another receiver).
I understand why it's 27 KHz, and that image rejection depends on the balance between I and Q magnitudes (IC7A and IC7B outputs). I thought I'd fixed it earlier by removing the solder bridge on IC7, the problem is better but still there. Before I start poking around with a scope: Has anyone tweaked their image rejection? 73 Andy WM8Q |

MY 40 meter QCX+ works great and IMO needs no more work after I installed an audio AGC in it. 73, Bill NZ0T |

Hey? Albert *** I have to say something about?your comment about drivel and brain dead. That is a pretty rough response. Maybe you are very smart but let me ask with respect, how many?videos have you done and put the hours of effort into. Please would you share some of your?non drivel so I can review them.BTW I am an extra and an Electronics?Engineer with a masters degree so I will try not to give you a brain?dead review. Maybe think a bit next time before responding like that. That took an hour, 2 hours to clean the workbench to be able to spend that hour on the TT!! Have an Heathkit filter board replace to do next, Swan 700cx
broken coil, Drake mic jack replacement, cabinet for QRPlabs
clock, about 5 Hayseed cap kits for various rigs and several other
kits (in boxes). I don't know when I'll get to the QDX!!! All fun though!

Re: ATmega328 unavailability due to global semiconductor crisis
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýHow about this:? Hahns could certify one of our stateside QRP Labs experts to do chip upgrades and we make the return to him and never leave the country.? I for one have 2 Atmeg328s now and a 3rd on it's way (according to USPS it has made it to the US from Turkey).? So I could even send a uP to the upgrade center in the US and he could do the upgrade on the same chip and return it to me..... no new chip required.? Or, better yet, I can just learn how to do the upgrade myself.? Just thinkin' out loud (something my XYL says I should never do.) 73 Phil WA8YAN Sent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone -------- Original message -------- From: M0PWX <M0PWX@...> Date: 12/19/21 11:01 AM (GMT-05:00) Subject: Re: [QRPLabs] ATmega328 unavailability due to global semiconductor crisis Might work if Hans had an in country partner, but after seeing the fun of getting kits from turkey to UK and other countries, then sending back to Hans I doubt is a viable option ?
