Re: QDX order for batch #2 looks like it went through but no confirmation email
I don't have it in front of me but I was #525 something. Perhaps the mail server was just overwhelmed. On Fri, Dec 17, 2021, 3:06 PM Wolfgang OE1MWW <oe1mww@...> wrote: Same with Order ID #52664 |
Re: JTDX is it me for a moment (from THE WHO)
Muhsin, as Al stated, there not much difference in terms
of setup between JTDX and WSJT-X Unfortunately, un/reinstall does not delete or remove the JTDX.ini file. And in this .ini are all the settings. Same for WSJT-X. Try to find the directory in C: where JTDX.ini is located and delete it and do a install of JTDX and a new setup entry in JTDX. Will drop you an email tomorrow - right now I am 'horizontal-polarized' with my tablet, in bed... it's midnight now... ? 73 Wolfgang OE1MWW |

Dave,? I waited until 1200.01Z (just guessing) to make my purchase.? The purchase was going fine, then it wasn't.? In the meantime, I have a QRPGuys Digital AFP-FSK Tcvr III to build. On Fri, Dec 17, 2021, 4:00 PM Dave Edwards <kd2e@...> wrote:

Re: Successful QDX order
Hi Rich? I can't yet, sorry. There will be a few boards that fail to program, have a part missing. On the other hand someone else will cancel their order or amend it, someone will have accidentally duplicated, resulting in more available. It's never simple, believe me. It takes me days and days to sort it all out.? :-(? Until there is an empty box here in QRP Labs Towers, all possible QDXs having been sent out, I won't know which order number we get up to. I can only guess until then and it wouldn't be a very accurate guess. It's hard for you to imagine unless you've been there, done that, just how much correspondence something like this generates and how many amendments are required. It's huge!? 73 Hans G0UPL http://qrp-labs.com -------- Original message -------- From: "richlim11 via groups.io" <richlim11@...> Date: Sat, Dec 18, 2021, 12:23 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [QRPLabs] Successful QDX order

Re: Successful QDX order
I'm really sorry not everyone was successful in placing their order. And that around 70 people who thought they were successful, won't be.? I'm doing the best I can but simply put, there is huge demand for what is admittedly a fantastic kit, and I have simply not been able to produce enough to meet this demand. Yet! The same thing did happen with the QCX in 2017 and the QCX-mini in 2020. It took some time but eventually we were in the situation where everyone who wanted one, could get one. I'm confident it will be the same with QDX. So if you weren't lucky this time please just be patient.? 73 Hans G0UPL http://qrp-labs.com -------- Original message -------- From: Dale Hardin <joe.dale.hardin@...> Date: Sat, Dec 18, 2021, 12:13 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [QRPLabs] Successful QDX order

Ok, I admit I was tempted to buy two, one for this shack and one for the alternative shack but decided not to deprive someone else... Hi all As you know the second QDX batch sold out even faster than the first, in a little under 5 minutes. Thanks to great work by the awesome webmaster, the server upgrade to the bigger faster machine prevented any overload issues or crashing. So the ordering could be faster.? Apparently it also let the OpenCart shop software over-ordering "undocumented feature" work even faster than last time. By the time the shop halted the ordering, there were 87 over-orders. I'm sorry, I can't do anything about that. I left myself a reserve of about 20 for unexpected unpredictable happenings but this means there will be at least 70 people whose order I can't ship. A very unfortunate situation. When all the QDX are shipped I will email the people who are at the end or the line. I will offer either a refund if they wish. Or being near the front of the line in batch 3 when it happens. And also shielded against any potential price rise for batch #3. Which is not unlikely, since the chip crisis is still deepening at the moment.? Regarding batch 3. I will have to find an alternative ADC chip and make the necessary hardware and software adjustments. The AK5386 has gone obsolete following the AK factory fire and the prices, if you can find them, are too ridiculous to contemplate. It is going to take me a little time because I will need to redesign the PCB and test a prototype etc. I will provide an update here from time to time. If possible, for batch 3, I will try to make 2,000 kits. 73 Hans G0UPL Groups.io Links: You receive all messages sent to this group. Re: Successful QDX order
Led Zeppelin tickets for me. We stood in line to get a wrist band with a number, then they drew lots and we were 42nd in line at the University of Michigan Union. The first two rows were already sold out, because they were selling 8 tickets max to each comer.

We ended up on the floor of the Pontiac Silverdome, in the 3rd row. Wow! Fortunately, we brought hearing protection. 73, -- Dave, N8SBE Quoting reallyoldjeep <reallyoldjeep@...>: #52533 |
