It goes back at least as far as 10, which was the firmware on my first delivered QMX. It¡¯s noticeable in headphones and amplified external speakers and in RF and practice mode, into a 50ohm load and an antenna.?

is there anyone using an n7dcc atu10 (Chinese copy) that has a jack on the back labeled ext.
is that external power to charge the internal batteries?
if so what type of plug does it use?

One problem I have is identifying? right
solder point on bottom side of board, since it is so crowded.

I had the same issue for a while. I tried snap-on ferrites on everything, but that didn't help in my case. I finally made a proper choke with 14 turns of coax on a ft-220-43 -- Nipped it in the bud for good.

Personally I think that maybe the volume should be slowly increased from zero instead of just switching on and off.? Also, I will say that although the thump isn't as bad during normal operation, it's still incredibly distracting. The last time I took it out on a POTA activation I probably made dozens of mistakes because of the thump messing with my keying rhythm.?

It may be quiet but I don't agree that it's unnoticeable. Perhaps the?"thump" could also be eliminated by sequencing the Tx->Rx switching a few milliseconds before setting the receive volume back to the listening level? Not sure how feasible this is.

Looks like a lot of consistency in the settings being reported. Mine probably won't add much, but I promised to post them. I did try this in Practice mode, which I had not used before, and the clicks are the same as when producing RF.
Hoping for a solution!

Try transmitting into a dummy load and report back if this changes the disconnect on TX issue..??
What kind of antenna are you using?? End-fed antennas have a RF-in-the-shack reputation.

Here's what worked for me
I use 70db slope, 50 smooth samples and 15dB/s of recovery. That AGC works great for me! Thanks a lot @Hans, what's next? :D?

Hi, I like to show you my new /p setup with QMX low band:
you see? the QMX with pocket transmatch, speaker and accu talentcell yb1203000-usb.... the key is a tiny paddle by n6ara...
for charging the laptop there is a solar power bank...
the QMX runs with FT8 and/or UCX Log

Dbl.click 300 - no reaction, 500 - works after 3-5 attempts, 600 - switch RIT on immediately. It was not so before, 300 was OK.

Chris, I think it still comes back to volume level. I tried using my little amplified speaker and the clicks are gone - that is until you turn the volume up to really uncomfortable levels - then they are as bad as before. To put it another way, if you notice the clicks in the headphones, then change to amplified speaker, the clicks are still there.? -- 73, Dan? Chris, ?I tried your settings and there is no change. Unless... you turn the volume way down. Volume level is the only thing that seems to make a difference. Low volumes, I don't hear clicks. High volumes, it is awful. As I said before, at volume levels in a QSO with medium to strong stations, the clicks are minimal.? -- 73, Dan? NM3A There are moments when everything turns out right ....
