Re: QDX and Fldigi
Do you first attach USB and then turn on QDX BEFORE starting fldigi?
If you start fldigi first, the QDX audio devices are not present, so it can't find the port audio you saved.

Thanks again Oleh, it works nearly well now with the right RX level attenuator set to ZERO. I had searched in the manuals (more than 1,000 pages!) of Fldigi and could not imagine that to have full

Re: QDX RF filter sweep 20m
Hi,
Thank you all for your answers!
* Rob: your RF filter sweep looks really similar to mine! Thank you for sharing it, as I really wondered if I did something wrong.
* Evan: I built the 9 V version

Re: Putty
I often use TeraTerm instead of PuTTY, for some people it is more intuitive.
It is a free download for Windows.
Remember in either of these, that you don't need to set up SSH or TCP/IP options for use

Re: QMX and SSB, will it work with MFSK?
I may have misunderstood this technically, but I think this principle is frequently used in professional mobile transmitters, eg. cell phones. However, the name used is also different, it's often

Regarding the toroid enamel removal: I have a solder pot and I'm going to attempt tinning the leads in it which I am hoping will achieve sufficient burn-off of the enamel. Oh, and not shown in photo

Lots of good tips already. I struggled a bit with effective enamel removal
on my first and second kits. The new kits exclusively use the thinner
enamel wire which is much easier to work with, but

Re: How to pre-order/order a QRP Labs QMX+
Hi Pete
QMX+ stock in the website was incorrectly at zero because I had failed to
adjust it for the recent new batch of 1000 new QMX+ kits. I've updated it.
So you can order now.

Re: 43pF capacitor missing
Reinhard, I think you need C522. It's important for harmonic supression.
Please check if C522 is hidden somewhere. I read about a part was hidden in the hole of a rotary knob.

Describing the signal from a microphone as baseband SSB is an interesting take.
Synthesizing SSB amplitude and frequency/phase from baseband audio is different than EER implementations of the
