I removed the BNC connector, but I didn't measure any short on the connector. I also rewound T507 and rewound T501 for 12v. I ordered a nes BNC just in case.

I can't even communicate with it over usb. Red light not on. Draws only about 60 mA. Using PUTTY com pgm. Checked for 5 and 3v supplies. no problem there. Si5351 putting out 24 MHz or so. TCXO putting

Whenever I try to copy over firmware, after it completes copying, I get the message saying access denied. I have tried to change the permissions but that doesn't work.

Thanks Ludwig, I have done the jumper thing and was able to see QMX in my file manager. On entering it I now see the EEPROM file as well as 1_00-27.QMX. So all appears well and what's expected. But
