Nevermind, I should have looked harder at Han's explanation of how the BPF works and is switched, not just the schematic drawing itself. -Nate

Re: Stumped with RF Sweeps on QDX- Bypassing BPF, but still stubborn?
Studying the BPF/receiver portion of the assembly manual more, (not just the schematic), and the datasheet for that chip, I think I understand that better now. I then put a 1200pf capacitor (soldered

If there is room that would be great. I power my QMX with a talentcell. I have QMX+ on order and will definitely check that out. Mike Krieger [email protected]> wrote:

I¡¯m happy to see the introduction of this QMX+ version. From everything I¡¯ve seen, it¡¯s using much the same hardware and firmware platform of the QMX and as I see it, will not hamper ongoing

Re: A couple of new 12V power options
Note that these devices require that you use a USB-PD source that can deliver 12 volts. That voltage was originally a required part of the standard but no longer is, so some newer supplies may not

Re: A couple of new 12V power options
I know that the pre-built battery packs are convenient and that they also provide a higher voltage than the radio is supposed to be seeing. There are two ways that (I personally) might use; 1. A

Re: QMX Software help Houston Tx
The software package comes as a pre-compiled file; When you first power up the QMX it will appear like a drive when you attach it to the USB port. You just transfer the firmware file over to the radio

A couple of new 12V power options
Hello! I've seen on this list concerns about ensuring we use our QMX radios with 12V and not the 13+V which a lot of LiPo and LiFePo batteries are putting out. I've found two options that are both

Re: New LB QMX RF Sweep Analysis
That's what I had done before. Doesn't make much of a difference - squeezed or spread apart - about 1dB on 40 meters and that's it. I guess I'll leave it as is. -- Jim / K7TXA Eagle, ID SKCC 10447T

Stumped with RF Sweeps on QDX- Bypassing BPF, but still stubborn?
Building a QDX Mid-Band 40-15m. After struggling with the BPF parasitic resonances (or so I thought)... I bypassed the BPF completely., or tried to....... but my RF sweeps still remain similar!?
