It's interesting that you had Q104 burnt. That transistor probably never see more than 15 micro amps flowing through the drain unless something else happened, but then it's also not likely that the

Hi Rich,
The power supply is an "Abrecht SW 57". The power supply was already switched on and was simultaneously supplying a 20m QCX. I then connected the QMX to the antenna (1:9 EFRW via a tuner)

Sorry about your radio.? I know it's a big investment in time and effort.? And while relatively inexpensive, it's not free either.
That's a lot of damage.? But maybe we can all learn something

Grant ,
I just looked at your Rx spots and they are very low in QRG, I think your dial setting or calibration of the QDX is out

Re: QDX Rx but no TX spots in WSPR
Grant,
Are you on Windows or Linux? Timing is often a main reason WSPR is not decoded.
An indicator that you computer is set to the right time is the DT value in the 3rd column of spot decodes in

Re: QMX shows short to ground on STM32 pin 5
Thanks Jeff and Bojan. I found the cause of the short. The builder repaired what was thought to be a ?broken trace on top of the board, below one of the regulator boards but this caused a short to

QDX R2 enclosures?
Any QCX R2 enclosures available?? ?I have a R2 that would like one.? Apparently the new enclosures are for R3 and above.
Or, would a R3 enclosure work, just have an empty hole?

Re: QCX Mini kit order
You will probably have to log in to your account and dig awhile to see if it has shipped. For some reason emails from QRP Labs get rejected by many email services and don’t be surprised or insulted

Re: QMX still stuck at splash screen
OK I have read enough about the QMX, im putting mine in a box labelled " I should have Known better".Maybe when some information on fault finding becomes available I will give it another go.

Alan,
I tried typing in the "band" combo box on the main screen.
It showed the correct frequency, but turned everything RED and the radio frequency did not change.
Then I went to >File >Settings and

Re: QMX supply voltage reporting higher than input and strange display behavior
Just an "educated" guess since I don't have one, but microprocessors can't measure higher voltages directly.
Since you know the voltage is not that high, I suggest you look at the resistors that make

I don't have any significant results from experimentation since a few days ago, but I'd like to post some negative results just so that we won't waste time looking into non-issue factors.

I agree with Hans on this topic completely. The interaction of LPF and BPF can be very frustrating, but the question is not whether it is acceptable to bypass BPF for some users, but instead how best

Hi,
it seems like nothing is coming out during the TX session (ENABLE TX?) or the TX frequency is wrong.

It'll be worth the wait, OM. Good luck with the build! Use the delay to read the assembly manual - at least twice :-)
