Ctrl-Q and ctrl-S were used to control flow over RS-232 links. It may be they're getting swallowed for that purpose on the Mac. There's probably a switch to tell PuTTY to tell the OS to ignore flow

Rpi4 (x2), Rpi3B+(x2), Rpi2B, ITX intel atom330 1.6ghz dual core, Haven't added the Rpi400 as haven't installed WSJT yet. Since it works on the RP4 (both B and D) I see no issues save for other things
