Re: #QDX T1 heat; thermal design #qdx
I'm curious? ?Why don't I see pictures in this group when others say they are there ??

Re: QDX input Analysis #qdx
Hello Ken Yes it analyzes audio generated by WSJT-X and sent to QDX. But to use it, one must put the QDX and WSJT-X in VOX mode. It's a bit inconvenient but inevitable because CAT and the terminal

Re: Calibrating the reference frequency on QCX+ #calibration
And that time your typo meant to say "27.004 MHz" Hi Hi. We are all on the same page Simon. No problem. One quick note. Sometimes I get the formula upside down. If it turns out that the frequency is

Ken:? I wonder if a "virtual audio cable" would work for your audio signal routing needs? 73, Don N2VGU

Re: Calibrating the reference frequency on QCX+ #calibration
Thanks for spotting my error Rob, You were right about my typo. I meant to type 14.004MHz, sorry. And Ron did well to understand what I should have written. Simon

That's just what I'm looking for Ron. Thank you. I'll let you know how I get on.

Re: QCX 5th birthday
A sincere 'thank you' Hans for the QCX family :-) Not sure if I will venture to obtaining the 'mini' any time soon but both my original (30M) and plus (40M) were GREAT construction projects for sure!

Re: QDX with Bluetooth? #qdx #bluetooth
Thanks Rob for that explanation, I was just thinking 5v txd and rxd logic, forgetting all the complexities of USB connection hi hi. I tried connecting my old QLG1 gps unit that does TTL and the gps

Re: #QDX T1 heat; thermal design #qdx
Aha, I see what you've done here. I will try to come up with a thermal solution when I receive my kit. 73 and all the best from VK2NJR.

Re: Missing parts in QDX kit
I had exactly one missing part in my QCX+ kit. Well, not exactly missing, but one resistor of the wrong value. I wasn't going to bother Hans over such a trivial thing, especially since I've got a

Re: QDX input Analysis #qdx
Thanks Alan and Evan, but if there is no CAT control how do I set the QDX operating frequency for the test? Understand VOX for tx on but what frequency? Also, what is actually being analysed here, the

Re: QDX input Analysis #qdx
I did it by setting the QDX to Vox mode in the QDX configuration and in the WSJT-X program. 73 Evan AC9TU

Re: QDX - WSPR - Transmit appears OK but No WSPR spots #qdx #wspr
Scott None. The QDX needs maximum audio level, 3dB lower and you get nothing out. It "simply" measures the audio frequency and sets the Si5351 to an appropriate frequency. Power out is only adjustable

Re: QDX input Analysis #qdx
Ken, I forget exactly, Hans did post a more detailed description. WSJT-X must be used with no CAT. Then the QDX may be controlled by the Terminal. Set WSJT-X to TX, start the analysis. 73 Alan G4ZFQ

Re: QDX - WSPR - Transmit appears OK but No WSPR spots #qdx #wspr
Nope, it's all or nothing on the QDX, as it's watching zero crossings to determine the incoming tone frequency and generating the RF carrier at full power from there. The lower the input amplitude,

QDX input Analysis #qdx
Hi All, On the QDX terminal application, how do you use the 'input analysis' feature. If I enter it, it just says 'no signal'. If I run WSJT-X and select a band, opening 'putty', the terminal
