Chuck ordered test boards from two manufacturers.? He wants to see how well the pads hold up to heat from each manufacturer. Once the boards are proven, the boards can then be ordered using the

Wow! This is is great news! I almost pulled the trigger for a Wilderness version about ten times but waited and ultimately missed out. I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for posts from Chuck. Thanks for

Re: 20m QCX - output power issue
Hi all, I put a 4k7 resistor from the drain of Q5 to the +12V rail, and for me, this has resolved the high current draw and low power output on first PTT. I tried about 30 power cycles without noting

Hi Jan, I have now tested all 5 I have and all of them draw 1.2Amps the moment they are in circuit with TX on, I seem to have bought a fake batch off e-Bay, I have no idea what they even are, I will

Those parts are Prime parts from a US distributor not from eBay or China. I have never had one be bad out of the box, and I have sold 1000's. -- Cecil - k5nwa http://thepartsplace.k5nwa.com/

I ran into the same issue. Ended up cutting the end of my pigtail and put a SMA to BNC panel mount connector on the back end of my case and soldering the coax directly to the board. Jesse KJ6JRG

Re: Vertical SMA Tight Fit
Should work... you could also take a circular file and carve out a little notch in the side of the 80m LPF so it gives some space for the SMA . 73 Hans G0UPL http://qrp-labs.com

Progrock accuracy as 10 Mhz disciplinned osc.
Hello JoelAs long as the 'window' of freq correction is 1-5 the signal is stable and clean for long stretches of time...the mean frequency is abt 2-3 Hz lower than a 10 Mhz from a 'real' GPSDO. when
