Re: Available Hand Mics for QMX SSB ?
You want the version for the (tr)uSDK and uSDX (if you download this now, it will also list the QMX which makes it much easier to pick the correct one). -- Karl Heinz - K5KHK

Re: #qmx #SSB Firmware beta 1_01_002 release #qmx #ssb
I am running USB IMD Sync optimization on another QMX - this time I had my headphones plugged in. While it is running the optimization, on some bands I hear the two-tone IMD signal, but on most bands

Re: #qmx #SSB Firmware beta 1_01_002 release #qmx #ssb
Hans, I started the calibration process on the original beta .000, about half way through it popped one of the finals and crowbarred my power supply. I changed all 4 mosfets and updated to .002.

Re: #QMX 60-15 initial power output #qmx
I built a 9V midband QMX, basically everything works fine and all hardware tests are good, and I used it already for some SOTA activations. Now I want to tweak it a little, as the power output is good

Matt, from the beta firmware download page: *Microphone Connection:* The microphone is plugged into the QMX Paddle port; this stereo 3.5mm jack plug is for both the microphone signal AND the PTT

I’m not brave enough to download the SSB software yet, but would like to say how much I am enjoying reading posts of the group experiences and community debugging of the releases. And it is so

While my license does not allow for "commercial" sales, I can clearly see that this is not a money making venture and is instead simply a favor to other hams. Consider this approval to proceed.

Hans, It is looking very good SSB on the QMX+. How do you configure the PTT Out to go LOW to key a conventional linear amplifier?? At 5W it should drive my RFKIT RF2K-S to 200W on the standard

Re: Can't get SWR sweeps to be 1:1 with dummy load
Greg, not exactly. But like in your situation the voltage was wrong (away from 2.5 V) when IC402 was connected and different but also wrong when IC402 was separated from T401.
