Could we have another thread for these "Please add me" requests? This is burying ABS build information under a lot of other stuff! Just sayin' :-) 73, Paul -- AI7JR

Re: Antenna Tuners for QMX and QMX+?
Hi, I'm using an "upgraded" ATU-100 Aliexpress and a random-wire antenna, along with my QMX+. It works great after I made the changes according to the instructions in this YouTube

Re: Antenna Tuners for QMX and QMX+?
I just ordered the ATU-100 from the same seller on Amazon. Here's hoping it turns out to be the same experience. The listing I purchased states that it has the low power modifications, which I am

Those little audio amplifiers are pretty cute. Do you have a link? Dave

Re: Light weight Junkbox Amplified Speaker for SOTA.
I use these little guys. Their advantage is a resting current of around 1 mA so if I iaccidentally leave it on its no disaster.

Re: QMX+ new build, dark display, no EEPROM file
Thanks Ludwig I'm running Windows 11 on that laptop. It sounds like the firmware loaded, but since there is no display I can't tell. All the connectors look good and there is power to the display, but

This is on the latest QMX firmware, but I have noticed this on past versions also. I know that the exclamation mark is not used very frequently in most exchanges, but? I noticed the decoder was not

Re: Antenna Tuners for QMX and QMX+?
I have a ZM-2 tuner and really like it. If you have a balanced line fed doublet the ZM-2 has a balanced input. I also use a T1 tuner with the easy tuning bridge from Pacific antenna and it protects

Please add me to your second buy list. If there are options, I'd like a full kit. Also do you have a rough idea what the price would be? Thanks, Roy WA0YMH [email protected]> wrote:

Re: QMX+ new build, dark display, no EEPROM file
Bob, it seems the firmware is running. In this state no USB drive is shown. If you are using Windows before V10? you have to Install a special driver. Please search the QRP Labs Wiki for this

QMX+ new build, dark display, no EEPROM file
I recently finished building my rev 1 12 volt QMX+ that I picked up at last years FDIM. After carefully rechecking I plugged it into a bench power supply set to 10 volts with a .25 A current limit. At

Waterfall / Panadapter on QMX+ : Add a freq-out for a second receiver?
It's a great thing to have a waterfall display on a radio. Even better, if it's from a second receiver, that can be used independently. That way, one station can be worked, while simultaneously

QMX and ESD
Occasionally I reach for a knob on my QMX and get an ESD event from incompatibility between office chair and jacket.? After re-powering it works fine.? Wondering if anyone else experiences this.?

Re: Antenna Tuners for QMX and QMX+?
Another thumbs up for that ATU-10, though I probably got one of the lesser ones as it was only $30 last year from the seller I bought from (seems to be over $80 now).? It works fine though.?
