--REV 4 does have a Q7 but it's been upgraded to an AO403. Your symptoms are identical to mine on REV 3 which was current limiting at 1500mA. Check the power socket hasn't shorted then check Q7. I replaced Q7 and the 5v regulator and all has been well since.
