The answer is yes, you are missing the modulation scheme
of PSK31.
With a TX system that is NOT LINEAR, that being Class C, D, or E,?
PSK31 and similar cannot be done as the phase transitions would
create adjacent channel noise in the form of modulation clicks.? That
comes from the inability to recreate the amplitude information.
