After seeing comments about JTDX on this forum today I thought I'd give it another go. I've used WSJT-X for a long time.
I worked out getting JTDX and JTAlert (for JTDX) to communicate.
I'm getting used to the interface, there's a lot to like there, but...
Receive/monitor audio levels are way too high compared to WSJT-x. I have QDX audio levels set around the default of 54. The level showing on JTDX is about 3/4 of the scale, around 160. I tried setting the levels much lower in QDX but there's not much change to what JTDX scale shows.
Is this a problem? Do I need to pull levels down in the QDX, or just leave them at the default?
