I've searched archives for this and found little.??
Tried to burn the latest T1.09a micro for my older rev 2 QCX using avrdude.
I received both the .hex and .eep files from Hans.
I have an AVR pocket programmer from Sparkfun.? Used it many times for burning .hex files to Atmega328p flash.
Never tried any eeprom files before now.
I used the exact avrdude command string Hans supplied, just modified the programmer parameter.
Flash burns and verifies fine.? ?The eeprom burn does not verify.? first byte is wrong.??
When I examine eeprom memory contents, the first byte does not verifty and is not the first byte of the supplied .eep intel hex file.
I tried several different 328p's. new and used.? Same result.??
I've not tried a different programmer.? Only have the one AVR pocket programmer but may try using another arduino board as an ISP.??
Using files supplied by Hans with his fuse settings.?
avrdude as programmer software, all command line.
Sparkfun AVR pocker programmer.
Win XP?
Any ideas or anyone experienced similar?
Seems like many have upgraded the micro with no problem and I generally don't have problems but this one has me stumped.
Another rabbit hole......
