I bought one of those last year, for $18 on eBay. I didn't have high hopes for something built so cheaply, but it's proven to be remarkably useful! Basically, just connect any part and it tells you what you've got, which pin is what and the vital specs. Mine is quite accurate with capacitors but struggles a bit with inductors.?
