The discussion about QSX development (and the lack thereof) got me thinking where Hans might want to go with his next public offering. The QDX has been such a big hit it seems like digital modes are the wave of the future...
So how about FreeDV?
I don't know much about the mode, seems like it might be time to start getting familiar with it. If the modulation technique is compatible with what Hans has been able to code into the STM32 microprocessor, you know, it's crazy enough it just might work <grin>
We know how effective digital modes are over traditional analog with WSPR, FT8/4 and JS8Call.
