Today when doing reception on 20m, suddenly my power supply went into current protection with zero volts and 1.8A (protection current limit).
Checking QDX I saw a solid short to GND on 12V. All in all, Q7 has short between Drain and Gate for no reason. As I said, just doing FT8 reception on 20m.
Replacing Q7 with just a short from drain to source got QDX back to life with everything working as before so no damage at all.
Any idea why? Hans, any replacement cause I see there are none of AO3407 on digikey?
