Pete :
Have you heard of the DigiPi ?
Rather than a full-blown Linux / Raspberry Pi OS distribution it is more of a Digimode Linux appliance using Pi Zero Hardware.?
It is still a work in progress but looks promising. I have tried both this and 64-bit Raspberry Pi OS?on the Pi Zero 2 W and the are plenty peppy..
I have also run the HamPi distribution on the Pi Zero 2 W and works ok although it is only a 32 bit distro, which doesn't take full advantage of the capabilities of the board as it has a 64 bit processor.? From my experience the Pi Zero 2 W is plenty capable, just stay away from the Chromium browser as it is a real memory hog and will completely bog down the board if you fire it up. WSJT-X and FLDIGI seem to fine on the distros that I have tried.? It would be nice to see a 64-bit version of HamPi.?
