Not true, solder can appear on both sides of the pcb but may not be in contact with the component lead, especially the coil windings.

Using magnification I can't find any shorts or crossovers. ?As for suspicious joints, if the solder has flowed on the back, and is visible from the front it's a mystery how the joint cannot be solid. ?But, I'll take the time to check component legs where possible vs the back side solder pad and see what I find. ?thanks. ?
