Hi all

Mark N8MH is correct. I just checked the QCX CAT code. There is a check on the frequency set by the CAT command and 160m is below the allowable?limit (FA or FB CAT command frequencies are ignored if they are not above 3.2MHz). So I will change that and publish a new firmware .hex that will fix the issue.?

Gimme a couple of days... I had a little?surgery on Wednesday to remove a parathyroid tumor (benign, hopefully)... out of hospital yesterday but still feeling fuzzy in the head and generally about as well as can be expected, if someone slits your throat 7cm side to side and like 100 elephants jump on you... I'm back in QRP Labs' Towers' mission?control HQ but not quite trusting myself on sensible C coding even if it's just changing a silly 3.2MHz limit. Bit more sleep needed.

Just guessing: Is possible that the current firmware doesn’t support 160M frequencies via CAT command?? Since the band is “new” maybe there are legacy sanity checks on the frequencies that exclude anything below 80M, for example. ? Again, purely speculation!
