Thank you all. i have now placed ventilation holes in the back of the case. Unlike the the 50 watt amp
in which Hans has wisely place the heat sink outside the case. The Mini has the heat sink inside the case.
After placing ventilation holes like an old fashioned radio in the rear of the Mini the temperature of the Mini has dropped considerably.?
So far this seems after 8 hours of high duty cycle operation to have solved my problem.?
My ventilation holes are not chic looking and it would be really cool if Hans could add these in production on the Mini
and QDX where high duty cycles may result in premature failure in extreme conditions.?
