As of June 2019, the top 10 percent of income earners held 69.4 percent of total net worth; that is the value of assets a person holds minus all their liabilities. OTOH, the bottom 50% of income earners in the USA hold just 1.9% of all wealth.?So in both cases, the share of taxes paid roughly matches their share of wealth. If you want a more flat tax system, maybe we should have a more equitable distribution of wealth first. But none of this has anything to do with amateur radio or QRP Labs.
