My Ultimate QRSS rig has now run for 76 hours without problems
using WSPR mode..
It's been using a 10AH lead acid battery for power and today, it
measured 11.3 Volts on the terminals, a drop from 12.4 Volts which
isn't bad for untethered power (had the solar panel disconnected).
Anyhoo, very pleased and will turn it off later for some mods...
Going to put the GPS module into a seperate box with 6 pin din
connectios to the rig.
This means with a din socket on each QRSS rig, I can easily swap/share
the GPS module.
Also, will be fitting a variable DC to DC convertor to give a variable
supply to the PA transistor for tweaking power levels..
Great fun with loads of spots and a fair few inter G on 30 today..
