Could you help with a little clarification?
I understand the QSX, when connected by USB cable to the PC, will appear as a sound card.? Thus, when working FT8, there is no need for separate audio interfaces or cables between the QSX and the PC for audio.
Will the QSX be capable of CAT control by the USB cable as well, and at the same time as the audio card emulation is working?? That is, will the QSX on FT8 only have one connection between the rig and the PC that will take care of audio and CAT control?
Apologies if this has already been answered, or if the question is unclear.
