Hi folks,?
looking for first advices here - if anybody have similar experience and then solution.
Situation:
- QCX 40 just built
- no parts missing, no specialities
- modified values of some resistors as used pitch 480Hz
- first power-on - everything seems to be OK, menu settings to 40m, ?but NO AUDIO in headphones
- Aligment - BPF peaking at "7"+++ but NO AUDIO
- not possible to perform I/Q ballance etc. low signal on 1 plus some bars, no audio all the time

- TX - 3W out w/o problem, signal OK on second RIG, but NO SIDETONE

Tapping to Gain pot - hum in phones, reacting on gain setting (volume regulation) so Q7 not shorted and last IOs working and amplifying

Normally I will start around detector and T1 but confused little bit that BPF tuning is ok and that there is no sidetone in TX.

Going to??and will checkstep-by-step ?but asking here for any advices. Have to start signal generator and osciloscope etc... But now is time to go to bed :-( ?(1 a.m. local time here)
