I have the manual and built it in 1977 and still use it with my SB-104A which I built at the same time.; It is not a tube set. It also works in my Kenwood TS 820s Hybrid which is also Solid state using only tubes for finals. Sorry but these radios don't glow
in the dark. LOL I had to through that in Bob. Carl
