you are correct, but it is more than a change to the LPF after the PA.? in addition there are several band-specific capacitors in the PA circuit itself.? someone with a good stash of parts can do it, but not likely someone who must order individual parts.? it is more than a handful of capacitors.? (study of the manual and you can determine an exact count!)
for this same reason the rig is best viewed as a single band rig.? so while in theory I could convert my rig to 17m in the future - its a lot of parts to change!? same for a new builder, except they don't have to remove the many unneeded parts for a different band.?
