A bit off topic but very excited to make my first DX contact with my 40m QCX tonight and my first 1000 miles per ?watt QSO and had to tell someone that might appreciate it.
Even more excited that it was Ellen W1YL after reading about her on the web.?
9639 miles with 2.25w = 4,284 miles per watt or 6,894km/watt from VK3 to Florida.
I am a ham less than two years but this seems almost unbelievable to me.
