Al what is your signal look like with the?5 watt PA out of line. Is it possible to disco it and just run your U3S barefoot.

I am no expert for sure but I have?never seen a signal such as yours?from a U3S ...besides being ragged looking it wanders considerably up and down in frequency.

Bottom image is with homebrew 3A linear supply with KD1JV's regulator circuit. (). Linear looks not as ragged with a lot less noise.
