It gets even better.? Connected an antenna, tweaked T1 and am actually copying a s5 signal on 7.028 MHz.? My K3S shows 7.028.17 so my QCX is only low by .17 KHz? The dang morse decoder is actually copying N5IR sending with a bug!? Granted he's pretty good with it but most decoders struggle with bugs - LOL.?
The other surprising thing, apparently the Quadrature Detector is almost set right as I'm getting single signal (no opposite sideband) and the max signal is right where it should be in the 200 Hz passband.? Very pleasant audio also!
This little problem has really helped me with 2 things.? It reinforced my troubleshooting procedure (once I got the scope out) and I found out that my Arduino ISP programmer setup works.? I did a flash upgrade to 1.00e yesterday when I thought the program might be corrupt.? That wasn't the problem of course, but now I have it working, the display shows 1.00e as the firmware on startup.?
Now to finish the full alignment and get it into some sort of neat case.
