I also, just finished my QCX #748, 20 meter kit build yesterday!? Using a variable power supply with a DVM, and with the QCX antenna attached to a dummy load through a Daiwa CN-101L SWR/wattmeter, I recorded the following supplied voltages versus power output.? 9 volts, 1.5 watts, 10 volts, 1.75 watts, 11 volts, 2 watts, 12 volts, 2.25 watts, 13 volts, 2.75 watts, 13.8 volts, 3 watts and 15 volts, as high as my power supply would go, 3.5 watts. ?
I wired my QCX using the exact number of turns that the manual called for, for 20 meters with no mods of any kind.? When I wound all the toroids and TI, I scraped all of the enamel off of lead wires with a sharp hobby knife (Xacto knife) right up to the core, and then tinned them.? I wanted to be sure, that I would have a good electrical connection when I soldered them to the board.
The radio is working perfectly and I am making QSO's with great signal reports!? A happy build!

Hi all, just finished my 20m QCX with 1 turn less each on L2 and L3. Did also the Power Amplifier instability Mod. Output is about 1.5 Watts @ 13,8 V, draining 450mA TX, 150mA RX. 73 Wolfgang DL1GWW?
