Actually it is a problem because even if the files are judicially updated, sooner or later there will be some overlap and the remote file, so to speak, will be out of date.
This bit me once when the "same files" were kept in two places.

Just a suggestion that in the PDF files if not already done so, you refer to the URL to check for latest list, because perhaps the modifications get updated but your files don't? I'd think that would be the potential problem.
