Re: Ref: QRSS Ultimate 2: Reference Frequency keeps changing.

Deafening silence from potential responders is usually because many group
members have day jobs and are not present 24/7 to respond.? Because this
group usually generates over 50 email messages per day it is possible that
they have not got around to responding, or your query got hidden among all
the other messages.

It also might be that your question has totally confounded the extensive
knowledge base among potential responders and they have gone off to
experiment (trying to duplicate your problem) or are doing research relative
to your question.?

The group is usually prompt in responding but occasionally a plea for help
does go unpunished and unanswered.? Hopefully that is not a regular occurrence.

There should be ways to test or evaluate performance of your DDS module.?
Back when these were popular (cheap and plentiful via Ebay) there were
several on-line documents on how to build VFO's, Signal Generators, etc.
with these modules.? Some Google searches should result in finding one
or more of those DDS specific projects.? With a prototype board, your DDS,
and an Arduino module, you should be able to set up a test arrangement
that will tell you if the DDS is functioning properly.?

...and there are many more of these on-line.

Testing the DDS module would be my suggestion of a place to start.

With a deafening silence from respondents, I take it that the DDS module is goosed. But thanks to all those who thought of replying.

I guess it is not a common occurrence. I could not answer.
I might suspect the DDS or the GPS? Or the micro...
Maybe not too many here know the U2? The firmware and configuration might be a lot different.
