It seems to be able to take a variety of DC power supplies and generate? what I specify.? Gives me the voltage and current I specify.? I bought this over a year ago and it's still working.
I connect everything using power pole connectors so it's easy for me to mix and match power supplies, converters, and connectors.

There's a thread "Why I think QMX Calibration Kills PA" which suggests that the reason why people are reporting failures after SSB calibration is that the SSB calibration process doesn't do any envelope shaping when making test transmissions and the rapid power changes could cause PA failures.? Hans responds here
/g/QRPLabs/message/144737 acknowledging this could be a problem and promising that a future firmware version will have envelope shaping on SSB calibration.

I'm not going to run SSB calibration until this is implemented, even though I have done so with no issues, something that may be because I always run with a current limited power supply.
