This is a definite yes, as I've already done it. I use a Neumann U87 with my main station rig. It's connected to a Symetrix channel strip (phantom power, mic pre, de-esser, EQ, compression, etc.) the output of which is fed into a Steinberg USB interface. Once in my PC, the audio is routed to my Yaesu rig over USB. Feeding to the QMX+ is as simple as selecting it's "sound card" as the output for my routing software.

Obviously a Neumann is a bit of overkill for a QRP rig, but this is the sort of thing retired recording engineers do to pass the time.
